At some point, some figure out that you can’t win playing someone else’s game, and you definitely can’t win a game you don’t want to play. So, you decide it’s time to play your game on your terms.
But how do you define and decide what your game is? Go back to school to find the answer? Switch careers, spouses, or houses, hoping the next one will be the one?
You don’t need to find yourself. You need to face yourself. And the best way to do that is to enter the arena and engage the field.
What is “the arena?” The arena is where the real action takes place. It’s where you can cheer and jeer from the bleachers as a spectator or strive and solve on the field, doing the work and becoming the thing.
